Announcing Project-Based Virtual Assistants!
We have some exciting news to share with you! You may have seen on our social channels that we are officially launching a Project-Based Virtual Assistant.
Q: Hey Tracy! After all this time, why have you changed your mind about doing project-based assignments?
A: It surprised me, too, if I’m being honest. We’ve always avoided project-based work because of our strong focus on relationships. From our application process all the way through matching a team and getting them kicked off together, we focus strongly on work style and personality. I genuinely believe that if you have the personality match down pat and it’s backed by solid skills, expertise, passion, and proactivity, the team is unstoppable. However, I started noticing that the industry is changing a bit, and it caused me to take a second look.
Two things stood out specifically -
1. I speak with business owners weekly, and for the last year, a new pattern has emerged. They need help, but due to the unsteady economy, decisions like where that help comes from and how much they can get require a lighter step and heavier thought process. Now more than ever, savvy business owners must scale wisely - which still doesn’t mean going solo! A new strategy and solution were needed.
The second factor was simple after this realization!
2. The incredible VAs at Rock Solid are far beyond box-checkers - their work is full of passion, expertise, and excellence. They’ve proven that no matter the task, their M.O. is to work with heart and creativity - keeping things like budgets and time constraints in mind while producing high-quality results for their clients.
After spending some time with my internal team discussing how we could make this work, what it would look like, what processes needed to be adjusted, etc., we decided to go for it. I find it difficult to turn down clients who need amazing support, and it would also be an excellent opportunity for our VAs to be able to accept a shorter-term project here and there! They’ve already shown themselves to be more than ready and capable of working with heart and passion, and I know they will continue with these short-term assignments!
