Before

Our Assistant EvaluAtion Process


Before you even contact us we are searching for the best of the best creative and executive assistants. We have a very thorough evaluation process to assess each assistant that works on the Rock Solid team. Our applicants must successfully pass 6 or 7 online tests before they have an opportunity to interact with anyone on the Rock Solid team. If they do make it through all steps of the process, the final step is an hour-long video interview.  

During the video interview, we are mainly looking for two things. Because we have assessed their skills so thoroughly, we are now assessing proactivity and “heart”. Simply put, an assistant either has the ability to be very proactive and to be 2-3 steps ahead of their client at all times or they don't. Similarly, they either have the heart to serve people and work alongside of them or they don't. It's my belief these two things cannot be taught! We strive to find the very best assistants to work on the Rock Solid team and our expectations are very high!

 

During

Our Matching Process


We are equally passionate and proactive with our matching process. When someone is looking to add to their team, they first have an hour-long inquiry meeting with Tracy, Founder/CEO. During this meeting, they will discuss all of the most important business needs but also a lot of personality and work style characteristics. We match first and foremost according to personality! Even with the most stunningly skilled assistant, personality has to match or the team will not function well together. Because we have so thoroughly evaluated our assistants, we now have the ability to really assess personality and match accordingly. Of course, we match skills to each need, but personality comes first. We also take into consideration simple things such as time zones. Our matching process is very specific and our track record is pretty amazing!

After

Our Coaching and Team Management


Once we have matched an incredible Rock Solid assistant with an amazing new client, our work has just begun. We do not simply wish this new team the best and let them go on their way. Absolutely not! We've got an amazing team manager that really steps in and walks out the first three months of onboarding side-by-side with each team. If things are going well and no assistance is needed, we are very happy to rest in the background on an on-call basis just in case we’re needed. However, if anyone has questions or is looking for suggested tips, tricks, or best work practices, we've got them! We check in every week for the first month, twice during the second month, and once on the third month. After that, we fade Into the background more and more, but we are always here to help in any way! This hands-on approach has proven to increase the success rate of our teams exponentially!
